Southern Chicken Casserole
An easy, creamy Southern-style chicken casserole topped with buttery crushed crackers. Simple comfort food that's perfect for a family dinner.

- 4 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sleeve buttery round crackers, crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Combine the crushed crackers with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
